How Does Concrete Polishing Work?

What Finish Options Are There?
The look depends on how deep we grind. A light grind keeps the smooth cream on top of the slab. A medium grind shows small flecks of sand and stone. A deep grind exposes the larger stone for a terrazzo-like look.

Is Polished Concrete Right For Your Floor?
Polished concrete works best on a solid slab indoors. It is a great fit for offices, showrooms, shops, and open-concept homes where you want a clean, modern floor that lasts. It handles forklifts and foot traffic well and never needs to be recoated.
It is not the right choice for every space. Garage floors that see road salt and dripping cars in a Peterborough winter are better protected by a garage floor coating. Slabs with heavy damage may need concrete resurfacing or a coating instead. We will tell you which option suits your floor.
